About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at CoSM. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of assigned buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Evaluate problematic systems or facilities and oversee any contracted work.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and cleaning of equipment.
  • Document all repairs and work daily, understanding and utilizing the information collected to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work safely and maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
  • Experience performing light maintenance and janitorial work.
  • Experience working with and managing the work of maintenance vendors.
  • Experience with electrical trade or other construction-related trades.
  • Advanced skill using hand, power, and specialty tools; experience using lifts.
  • Knowledge of and experience performing electrical, plumbing, and carpentry (e.g., drywall, framework, etc.).
  • Ability to monitor regular preventative maintenance as well as ongoing maintenance while supervising the work of others.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of managers and employees and external contacts.
  • Ability to effectively monitor and manage employees and contractors.
  • Ability to identify problems and solve them independently.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this role is $25-$30 per hour in California, factoring in internal equity and considering geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience.
