Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Nurse, RN to join our team at Summit Health Inc. As a key member of our care team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and staff with daily patient care coordination and access.
- Function as a liaison between patients, staff, and physicians, ensuring seamless communication and care transitions.
- Maintain efficient patient flow and prioritize care based on physician orders and nursing procedures.
- Deliver direct patient care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with Summit Health policy.
- Collect lab specimens, accurately label, and prioritize patient care.
- Effectively communicate problems, concerns, or issues to the Office Supervisor/Manager.
- Ensure proper patient identification and preparation for visits.
- Employ timely use of Tasking in EHR and document accurately.
- Administer injections, obtain vital signs, and demonstrate telephone triage protocols.
- Schedule appointments, adhere to universal safety precautions, and review medication lists.
- Enter orders, schedule appointments, and provide referrals in the Practice Management System and EHR.
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Oregon State Nursing License and BLS certification required.
- 0-1 years' experience; 2-4 years' experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform diverse work assignments with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy.
