Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance and engineering strategies to ensure operational reliability and maximize asset availability.
  • Manage maintenance performance metrics, including work order completion and machine reliability.
  • Support equipment feasibility studies and make recommendations for investment, implementing capital expenditure projects and ensuring payback expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives, driving operational excellence and cost savings.
  • Execute the annual financial plan and monitor performance within budget.
  • Design, develop, and manage capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans.
  • Develop and execute the site's preventative maintenance program.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to implement capital investment projects, driving operational excellence and cost savings.
  • Provide technical support and resolve equipment reliability issues, interacting with key stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain industry, professional, and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree desired.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations, and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment, and site.
  • Knowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements, and management of a manufacturing facility.
  • Knowledge of the physical environment and full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques for preventing and addressing theft of assets, theft of information, vandalism, sabotage, and other threats to a manufacturing facility.
  • Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical, and logistics equipment used in manufacturing, including its safe usage, maintenance, and storage.
  • Knowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturing processes.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting.
  • Frequent walking and standing required.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
