Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Correctional Facility

California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at a correctional facility. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to work in a fast-paced correctional facility environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic examinations, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal imaging results.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including x-ray machines and imaging software.
  • Develop and process radiologic images, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including patient information and imaging results.
Requirements:
  • Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services.
  • Two years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist.
  • Successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.
Working Conditions:

This position requires travel to various locations within the correctional facility. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism in a correctional setting.
