Medical Review Specialist

STGi is seeking a highly skilled Medical Review Specialist to provide consultation and guidance to the Department of Labor (DOL) for various workers' compensation cases.

The selected physician will receive work on a case-by-case basis and will be compensated for their time spent performing reviews at an hourly rate.

Estimated hours per month may vary, and work will be performed remotely from the physician's home/office using a web-based DOL health IT system.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted license in any state
  • American Board of Internal Medicine certification
  • Minimum of two years of clinical practice experience
  • Minimum of 240 hours of direct patient care annually
  • Understanding of Federal safety and health regulations and experience reviewing worker's compensation cases
