- Quality Assurance: Supervise quality improvement activities and chair relevant committees.
- Care Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across various health services, including behavioral health and social services.
- Board Engagement: Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors regarding medical activities and performance metrics.
- Human Resources Oversight: Manage HR issues related to clinical staff, including recruitment and evaluation.
- Financial Planning: Contribute to the development of the medical budget and monitor productivity.
- Strategic Development: Participate in creating the healthcare plan, addressing community health needs and trends.
- Community Engagement: Involve in outreach activities with community organizations.
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with a focus on Family Medicine or a combination of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
- Board certification with timely recertification.
- Current medical licensure in the relevant state.
- Active DEA registration for prescriptive authority.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or CPR/AED.
- Minimum of five years of experience in family medicine.
Competencies will be established by individual departments and communicated through the performance evaluation system.
SupervisionThis role will oversee Site Medical Directors, Physicians, Mid-Level Providers, and clinical medical staff.
