Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards consistently to all guests during every shift.

  • Assist in developing the weekly schedule for hostesses and cashiers.
  • Provide training for new bartenders on all relevant duties.
  • Delegate additional responsibilities to bartenders as needed.
  • Oversee compliance with opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain a pleasant atmosphere in the outlet, including temperature, music, and lighting.
  • Keep the host stand organized, clean, and well-stocked.
  • Greet and seat all guests promptly.
  • Accommodate guests with special needs and manage waiting lists when necessary.
  • Monitor the service flow within the outlet.
  • Assist with resetting tables as required.
  • Thank departing guests and encourage their return.
  • Manage cash handling procedures and ensure all supplies are ready at the cashier stand.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cashier stand.
  • Process payments accurately, including cash, checks, and credit cards.
  • Complete shift closing procedures and make daily deposits.
  • Perform cleaning duties as necessary.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in guest service, including cash handling.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent guest service and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math proficiency.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow directions effectively.

Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, and the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, loud noises, and potential smoke.

Employment Conditions: Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation to secure a gaming license. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
