Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Coordinator with a background in geology/engineering to join our team at PEnterprise Consulting Services.

About the Role

This is a key position that requires excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of environmental regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing geological operations, coordinating site investigations, and analyzing samples to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Team Management: Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring team members have the necessary resources.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects stay within budget constraints.
  • Timeline Management: Create and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress, identifying delays, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and senior management, providing regular project status updates.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and fulfill project objectives.
Requirements:
  • Ten years (+) of direct relevant work experience.
  • Professional licensure in California, PG and/or PE required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in geology, geosciences, earth sciences, or hydrogeology, or similar degree. Master's degree in geology or engineering a plus.
  • 40 hours of OSHA health and safety training, annual 8-hour refresher courses, and annual medical monitoring required.
  • Able and willing to perform fieldwork and travel.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software, especially integration with AI, highly desirable.

$85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
