Position: Apprentice Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Support retrofit installations, including ductwork, refrigeration piping, and electrical wiring.
  • Participate in the installation and replacement of ductwork in commercial settings.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in compliance with OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be enrolled in an Apprenticeship program.
  • Entry-level experience with HVAC systems is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions while performing tasks under supervision.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary for HVAC work.
  • A valid Vehicle Operator's license is required.
  • Physical capability to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, and work at heights.
  • Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Basic knowledge of desktop computers and internet-based programs for training purposes.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • This position is subject to a background check and drug screening.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage of $54.51.
