Physical Therapist Assistant for Home Health

FeldCare Connects is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality home healthcare services to patients of all ages.
This is an opportunity for an Independent Contractor to work in the Richmond area, serving patients with a range of needs.

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing services defined by state laws governing the practice of a Physical Therapy Assistant, in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with other healthcare team members
- Assisting patients in using therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety
- Observing, recording, and reporting patient responses to treatment and changes in their condition
- Instructing patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team in areas of therapy where they can participate in assisting the patient
Qualifications include:
- Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages
- Physical Therapy Assistant license and registration by the state
- Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum approved by The American Physical Therapy Association, The Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, or The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association
- Bilingual is a plus
