Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transport Driver to join our team at Quinn Company. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for loading, securing, driving, and unloading heavy equipment tractor-trailer rigs to deliver and pick up rental equipment and components at customer locations, company facilities, and suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a valid California Class A driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Operate company vehicles in compliance with DMV rules and regulations.
  • Participate in the U.S. Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Perform daily safety and operational vehicle inspections.
  • Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs of assigned trucks as needed.
  • Load and unload equipment using material handling equipment.
  • Use road maps for efficient transportation.
  • Maintain accurate logbook records and proper permits.
  • Work a flexible schedule to meet company and customer needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of related experience and/or training.
  • Valid California Class A driver's license.
  • DMV Medical Certificate.
  • Forklift operator certification.
Work Environment

The Transport Driver will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and potentially hazardous materials. The noise level is usually loud.
