Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Medical-Surgical courses at South University. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Medical-Surgical courses to undergraduate students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with course outcomes
  • Assess student learning through various evaluation methods
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum and educational programs
  • Participate in faculty development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in the teaching discipline or a related field
  • Experience in instruction or formalized education process, preferably in a post-secondary or college institution
  • Membership in a professional association tied to the area of instruction preferred
  • Active, valid, and unencumbered state licensure or certification as applicable to the discipline
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least six months of teaching experience at South University or another post-secondary education institution
  • Online experience a plus (for online only)
