We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler II to join our team at Legrand North America. As an Electrical Assembler II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical products.
Key Responsibilities- Product Assembly and Testing: Conduct pre and post-assembly functions, including product testing, repairing electrical/electronic equipment, and reading specifications.
- Collaboration with Management: Work with management to ensure products meet customer requirements and product delivery dates.
- Component Repair and Replacement: Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
- System Assembly and Installation: Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures, and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings, using electronic materials, soldering, and electrical equipment.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for resistance factors for operation and record results.
- Root Cause Analysis: Evaluate and diagnose the root cause of product testing failures.
- Maintenance and Repair: Repair and maintain electrical test equipment, recommending replacements when necessary.
- BOM Management: Navigate BOM management systems to ensure assembly processes and procedures are updated.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 1-2 years of material handling experience
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to follow written instructions/procedures, and basic familiarity with computers and computer use.
- Physical Demands: Ability to exert up to 35 lbs of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
- Tools and Equipment: Ability to use hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, socket wrenches, hammers, pliers, wire cutters, tape measure, and other job-related tools.
- Work Environment: Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Certification: Ability to gain certification, operate, and maintain Forklift certification throughout employment time.
