Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will assist the cardiologist and radiologist in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab in the performance of invasive procedures and provide a safe environment for the patient.
The RT/CVT will also participate in monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties. They will keep up to date on new procedures, equipment, and exam protocols, and assist with maintaining supply inventory at acceptable levels.
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will operate equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of the RT/CVT's practice.
Qualifications:- Education in a school of Cardiovascular Technology
- CVT/RCIS or ARRT certification
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications as a Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association)
Must have 1-year recent experience as a Cardiovascular Tech or experienced ARRT.
