Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will assist the cardiologist and radiologist in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab in the performance of invasive procedures and provide a safe environment for the patient. The RT/CVT will also participate in monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties. The ideal candidate will be up-to-date on new procedures, equipment, and exam protocols, and assist with maintaining supply inventory at acceptable levels.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the performance of invasive procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Provide a safe environment for patients undergoing procedures
- Participate in monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties
- Stay up-to-date on new procedures, equipment, and exam protocols
- Maintain supply inventory at acceptable levels
Qualifications:
- Education in a school of Cardiovascular Technology
- CVT/RCIS or ARRT certification
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications as a Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association)
