Job Overview

This role involves the preparation and serving of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests while ensuring the bar area is well-maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Craft and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes and precise measurements.
  2. Take and deliver food orders efficiently.
  3. Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system for accurate order entry, payment processing, and change handling.
  4. Manage bar inventory effectively and maintain a clean, organized workspace, including washing glassware as necessary.
  5. Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging guests in friendly conversation and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  6. Comply with all state and local regulations, including verifying customer identification to confirm legal drinking age.
  7. Monitor alcohol consumption to prevent over-intoxication and ensure responsible drinking practices.
  8. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or a combination of relevant training, education, and experience.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in Full-Service Bars.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to speak, read, and write.
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide outstanding guest service.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive interactions.
  • Frequent use of Point of Sale systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the menu offerings.
  • Skill in upselling and anticipating guest requirements.
