About the Role
This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong background in client management and project delivery. As a Senior Delivery Manager at Thomson Reuters, you will be responsible for leading complex deals and ensuring successful implementation across territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive leadership in the execution of complex deals to ensure successful implementation across territories.
- Develop and implement strategies to leverage Thomson Reuters solutions to support client objectives.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve customer issues that threaten the success of the project.
- Focus on meeting or exceeding established project metrics and identify risks/potential issues and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize efforts and problem-solve optimal solutions.
- Ensure high-quality delivery of new and existing contracts in the territory.
- Understand client's mission and leverage Thomson Reuters solutions to support their objectives.
- Manage day-to-day customer needs and interactions, including client kickoff, regular status meetings, and trainings.
- Direct and manage Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to prospective clients in close coordination with the analysis and product/technical teams.
- Ensure complex deals get implemented successfully.
- Serve as an extension of Sales, Analysis, and Product/Tech team on the ground, with a strategic view of customer challenges and opportunities.
- Attain assigned client retention and sales goals.
- Have a strong understanding of Finance, Legal, Contracting, and Security requirements, and know when and how to communicate effectively to manage processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in client management and project delivery.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a national security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of client-related experience in the Department of Defense, Federal Law Enforcement, or National Intelligence Community preferred.
- Strong familiarity with Thomson Reuters proprietary data sets and technology preferred.
- Program/Project management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and a team player with strong business acumen and organizational skills.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel to sales training, meetings, and to customer locations.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to travel to customer locations and company meetings.
- Able to carry company materials, including laptop and marketing materials.
- Able to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer.
- Able to use the phone.
