Position Overview:
Our esteemed retail partner is in search of a Senior Industrial Engineer to enhance their expanding operations. This role is crucial for advancing automation and fostering improvements within the distribution center (DC).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Spearhead the creation and upkeep of precise and effective engineered standards through comprehensive time and frequency analyses.

2. Establish and uphold Best Practices for all operational roles, including the training of both management and hourly staff on productivity and operational methodologies.

3. Align with business goals and enhance expense management and throughput initiatives through thorough needs assessments, workflow analyses, and project execution.

4. Utilize project management tools to strategize, develop, and oversee the successful completion of assigned projects, delivering measurable outcomes.

5. Experiment with innovative concepts to optimize the flow and configuration within distribution centers.

6. Assist in the design and implementation of material handling systems integrated into both existing and new facilities.

7. Support capital initiatives as necessary through work sampling, cost justification (Return on Investment), and cost/benefit evaluations.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in a Distribution Center
- Proficiency with Standard Data and Predetermined Time Systems (e.g., MTM, MOST)
- Expertise in work measurement methodologies and tools, particularly time study techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Manhattan Associates Supply Chain suite
- Experience with Dematic WCS functionality
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
