Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group - Tiger Point. As a key member of our Diagnostic Radiology department, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body
  • Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring accurate anatomic and technical parameters
  • Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography or Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree
