Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group - Tiger Point. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a scanner to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree.
