This position is responsible for executing both standard and intricate EEG procedures autonomously, adhering to established protocols and guidelines. The technologist will analyze and communicate findings effectively, ensuring patient safety during critical clinical situations. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential for success in this role, which operates under the oversight of departmental leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts EEG procedures that align with the skills and qualifications of a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, including advanced techniques.
- Engages in ongoing education and skill enhancement in EEG and other recognized modalities; seeks to acquire new competencies in line with industry advancements in Neurodiagnostics.
- Contributes to the training and orientation of junior technologists and EEG trainees.
- Undertakes additional job-related tasks as assigned.
