Position Overview
The Senior Certified Nursing Assistant plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care within the BrightStar Care of Marietta framework. This position entails being on-call for care assignments as dictated by the operational schedule. The Lead Caregiver is expected to attend all designated shifts across various locations, including the BrightStar office.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Be ready to respond to care requests within a 15-minute notice during scheduled hours.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, including being dressed in uniform with an ID badge.
  • Ensure mobile devices are charged and notifications are enabled.
  • Have reliable transportation available for use.
  • Embody our Core Values, which include:

    • Demonstrating Professionalism
    • Going Above and Beyond
  • Assist with staffing needs at the BrightStar office as required.
  • Welcome and assess training needs for new hires, providing feedback to the office.
  • Evaluate new clients and relay insights to the Lead Care Coordination Manager regarding care directions for clients and caregivers.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Possess a current CNA certification.
  • Hold a valid AHA or Red Cross BLS certification.
  • Have reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
  • Ensure all credentials are current and on file.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in Workbright.
  • Complete annual CNA knowledge assessments as mandated by regulatory bodies.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Work conditions include client homes, healthcare facilities, and the BrightStar Care office. Physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
