This role reports directly to the Receiving & Warehouse Supervisor and collaborates closely to support the receiving and warehouse functions.

As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will engage in various tasks to transport supplies, materials, and equipment within the receiving, warehouse, and manufacturing sectors of the facility.

Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities are essential for success in this position.

Moreover, familiarity with the S A P system and its operational functions is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret oral and/or written directives from the Supervisor or lead personnel.
- Accurately receive, count, visually inspect, and confirm part numbers on materials and equipment.
- Monitor the assigned Queue for requested materials from production and report any inconsistencies to the Supervisor or lead personnel.
- Inspect materials for defects and communicate findings to the Supervisor or lead personnel.
- Safely transport materials between the dock, warehouse, and manufacturing areas.
- Ensure all physical movements are recorded accurately and promptly within the S A P Warehouse Management System.
- Conduct yard inventories, dock audits, and cycle counts as directed by the Supervisor or lead personnel.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on material handling equipment, including horns, tires, lights, forks, and frames.

Maintain vigilance and exercise caution at all times when operating the forklift to prevent injuries to pedestrians, other operators, and damage to materials.

Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, utilizing forklifts and operating overhead cranes as necessary. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.



Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating standard computer and scanning equipment.
- Capability to safely operate dock equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Working knowledge of the S A P System concerning material movements.
