Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at The Laurels of Steubenville. As an STNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our guests under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.
- Care for the guests' environment, ensuring a clean and safe living space.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting, promoting dignity and respect for each guest.
- Assist with eating and hydration, ensuring guests receive adequate nutrition and fluids.
- Observe guests' skin and report any changes to licensed nurses, providing skin care as needed.
- Meet guests' mental health and social service needs, providing emotional support and companionship.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- STNA certification (State of Ohio) or acceptable exemption.
