  • Rend emergency care for acute illnesses or injuries, including medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and behavioral health crises.
  • Report patient information, medical conditions, and treatment to medical personnel for continued care.
  • Utilize EMS telecommunications for coordination and information exchange with dispatchers, medical facilities, and online medical control.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, record results, and maintain a clean and stocked vehicle.
  • Adhere to Covenant Health EMS dress code and complete mandatory training and continuing education requirements.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
