Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:
Aureus Medical Group - Cardiopulmonary is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Description:

* Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
* Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
* Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

* Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of New Mexico.
* BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
* 1-2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a hospital setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
* Ability to lift 50-100 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
