LPN - Allergy Specialist

Under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, and/or the Director / Office Supervisor, the LPN performs diagnostic procedures, assists the provider with patient procedures, and performs routine laboratory tests. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and be able to adapt to individual patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic procedures and assist with patient procedures under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests, including collection and processing of specimens.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with allergy and immunology-related conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on allergy and immunology-related topics.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, scientific principles of nursing, and professional nursing standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR certification.
