Roofing Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Technician to join our team at ACR1 Commercial Roofing. As a Roofing Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced roofing crew with inspecting problem roofs, performing roof repair, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with inspecting problem roofs to identify areas of concern and develop repair plans.
• Perform roof repair and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the integrity of our clients' roofs.
• Clean and maintain equipment and job areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Communicate effectively with our foreman and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in roofing techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to travel up to 2 to 3 days a week for repair and service projects.
• Ability to work weekends when required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred but not required.

Physical Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds regularly throughout the day.
• Must be able to ascend and descend tall ladders frequently.
• Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions.
• Load and unload material and equipment from varying heights.
• Lift heavy objects by hand or with a hoist.
