Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Technician to join our team at ACR1 Commercial Roofing. As a Roofing Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced roofing crew in inspecting problem roofs, performing roof repair, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in inspecting problem roofs and identifying areas that require repair or maintenance.
  • Perform roof repair and preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and job areas.
  • Work collaboratively with the roofing crew to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with the foreman and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in roofing techniques and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to travel up to 2 to 3 days a week for repair and service teams.
  • Ability to work weekends when required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly throughout the day.
  • Ability to ascend and descend tall ladders frequently.
  • Ability to work in varied extreme weather conditions.
