Position Details

  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Per Diem

Required Qualifications

  • California Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient interviews, gather medical histories, and ensure patient consent documentation is complete. Proficiently operate radiographic equipment.
  • Monitor patient vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration, and establish Peripheral Intravenous (IV) access.
  • Prepare and administer pharmacological stress agents, ensuring accurate dosage calculations and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Implement ACLS measures as directed by the supervising physician.
  • Review and analyze Nuclear Medicine images, ensuring precision and effective communication with physicians regarding test results.
  • Stay informed about best practices and compliance regulations in a cardiology setting involving nuclear technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in emergency care or cardiac environments.
  • Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiology Technology (JRCERT) accreditation.
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT.N) certification.
  • Experience with Positron Emission Tomography (PET).
  • Computed Tomography (ARRT. CT) certification.
  • Radiation Safety certification (NMTCB, RS).

Work Schedule

  • Per Diem
