Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and education to our patients with cancer.

Under the general direction of the Pharmacy Manager, you will review drug therapy, formulate recommendations based on current literature and established standards of practice, and directly supervise supportive personnel. You will also serve as a resource for drug information, participate in the preparation and distribution of medications, and serve as a member of the healthcare team with the prescriber and direct caregiver.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Graduate of an ACCP accredited school/college of pharmacy
  • Eligible or currently licensed in the State of Maine
  • Work experience as a patient care pharmacist involved in patient monitoring and drug therapy review is preferred
