Vascular Nurse Specialist for Progressive Care

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Nurse Specialist to join our Vascular Unit in Progressive Care. As a Vascular Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and titrating cardiac drips, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing dysrhythmias. You will also be involved in the post-cardiac angiogram, post-myocardial infarction, and pre/post-cardiac catheterization care of patients. Additionally, you will be responsible for blood product administration, CVA care, and chest tube management.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 1 year of experience in telemetry and have certifications in ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS. You should also have experience managing art lines and be familiar with blended acuity care. As a Vascular Nurse Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient acuity. Therefore, you must be able to prioritize tasks, manage your time effectively, and maintain accurate records. You will also be required to work every other weekend and have a flexible schedule to accommodate block shifts.
