Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the SICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky or compact state
  • 2 years of experience in a SICU or critical care setting
  • Experience with vascular surgery population, including AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy, and fem-pop bypass
  • NIHSS certification and experience with stroke care
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
