WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday, day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST. Weekend work is not required, but you may need to cover shifts in case of staff callouts.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The CT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing staff and managing daily operations within a designated UVMMC Radiology service area. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory agency mandates related to quality imaging, quality control, and quality assurance for technologists, radiologists, physicists, equipment, and patient records.
  • Performing clinical procedures and supervising the clinical training of students and technologists.
  • Contributing to the development of Radiology policies and procedures.
  • Assisting the Radiology Manager with long-term planning and managing the operational budget for the specific Radiology service area.
  • Supporting the management team in achieving departmental objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from a Radiologic Technology program accredited by CAHEA/JRCT.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • CT certification is mandatory.
  • Verification of your college transcript is required; please be prepared to provide a copy if invited for an interview.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in the CT modality.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience in inspections and accreditation specific to the modality is required.

Additional Requirements:
• COVID vaccination with two shots and a booster is required.
