Hiring Incentives:
External candidates who have not been employed by the hospital in the past year may qualify for a hiring bonus of $15,000. This bonus will be distributed in several installments and is subject to applicable taxes as mandated by law. Additionally, relocation assistance is available for candidates moving from over 50 miles away, with a maximum of $9,200. Please note that relocation assistance is also taxable as required by law.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday, day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST. Weekend work is not required, but you may need to cover shifts in case of staff callouts.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The CT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing staff and managing daily operations within a designated UVMMC Radiology service area. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory agency mandates related to quality imaging, quality control, and quality assurance for technologists, radiologists, physicists, equipment, and patient records.
- Performing clinical procedures and supervising the clinical training of students and technologists.
- Contributing to the development of Radiology policies and procedures.
- Assisting the Radiology Manager with long-term planning and managing the operational budget for the specific Radiology service area.
- Supporting the management team in achieving departmental objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from a Radiologic Technology program accredited by CAHEA/JRCT.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- CT certification is mandatory.
- Verification of your college transcript is required; please be prepared to provide a copy if invited for an interview.
- A minimum of five years of progressive experience in the CT modality.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience in inspections and accreditation specific to the modality is required.

Additional Requirements:
• COVID vaccination with two shots and a booster is required.
