Position Summary

The role of the Plant Mechanic 2 is crucial in maintaining the functionality of plant machinery. This position involves conducting preventive maintenance and addressing mechanical issues to ensure optimal operation of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all machinery.
  • Monitor and assess the operational status of equipment, including safety mechanisms.
  • Implement lock-out/tag-out procedures as necessary.
  • Operate forklifts and utilize various hand and power tools effectively.
  • Employ welding techniques and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
  • Complete necessary documentation and work orders as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the responsibilities of this role. A minimum of three years of verified experience in industrial mechanics, welding, and hydraulics is required.
