Job Summary
We're seeking a dedicated and skilled educator to join our team as a Middle School English Language Arts Instructor.
This role is responsible for teaching English language arts to middle school students and creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach English language arts to middle school students, including reading comprehension, writing, and grammar skills.
- Create lesson plans that align with state and national standards and meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that fosters academic growth and social-emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
- At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in a similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of English language arts curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $50,000 - $64,700 based on experience and qualifications.
