We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive timely and effective treatment.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I with Alameda Health System or equivalent experience in a comparable setting.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), with other certifications as required by the facility or unit/department specialty.
- Experience working in a psychiatric unit or with patients with mental health conditions.
- Certification in chemotherapy or other specialized areas of nursing.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
This is a part-time position, working nights, 8 hours per shift, with a 0.6 FTE schedule. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
