Merck & Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to join the Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics Immune/Oncology team in a leadership position. This team is part of the Global Clinical Development organization and has oversight responsibilities within the company.

Job Description

The Director will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quantitative pharmacology and pharmacometrics strategies across various therapeutic areas. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute studies that support drug development. The ideal candidate should have strong scientific expertise, leadership skills, and experience in managing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantitative pharmacology and pharmacometrics strategies
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and execute studies
  • Mentor and develop team members
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biostatistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in quantitative pharmacology and pharmacometrics
  • Proven track record of leading teams and developing strategic plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
