We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at Blue Balloon ABA. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing intensive one-on-one therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior acquisition and behavior reduction plans to help children with ASD reach their full potential.
  • Collect data to demonstrate each client's progress toward reaching their goals.
  • Document client progress using electronic data collection software for real-time analysis.
  • Collaborate with clinical team members to report client progress and receive feedback from supervisors.
  • Provide basic care to clients, including toileting and eating.
  • Discuss client daily progress with parents and caregivers.
  • Work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized goals and checklists.
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients.
  • Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education to maintain technical and professional knowledge.

Blue Balloon ABA is a multidisciplinary Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company dedicated to addressing the needs of individuals with ASD. We believe in a multidisciplinary approach, combining ABA therapy with speech therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Background check clearance upon hire.
  • Previous experience working with children, with ASD experience strongly preferred.
  • Reliability and ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation.
  • Ability to stand and move for at least 75% of the day, lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds.
