Hospice Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Heartland Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens
- Prepare and serve light meals and snacks
- Assist with ambulation and transfer patients as needed
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance
- Current CPR certification
