Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the crane under supervision to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Inspect the crane regularly to identify and address any potential safety hazards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the crane is in good working condition.
  • Drive the crane to the worksite and set it up for operation.
  • Wear safety equipment at all times while operating the crane.
  • Clean and maintain the crane's hoisting mechanism to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use lever and pedal controls efficiently to operate the crane.
  • Operate the crane according to signals from the helper and follow specific directions from supervisors.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Work within defined standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Lattice Boom Crane Operator.
  • Ability to consistently work shift schedules.
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to climb in and out of machinery.
  • Reliable transportation.
