We are seeking a dedicated Nighttime Support Specialist to provide support and guidance to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Summary

This position involves working independently to support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to established policies and procedures.

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a Nighttime Support Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide person-centered support, promoting independence, dignity, and choice for each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to residents with daily living activities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy living environment
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Document resident progress and incidents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality support and care. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field an asset
  • Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

The estimated salary for this position is $31,600 - $41,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks of work per year.
