Speech Therapist

Vail Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech therapy services to patients, including assessment and treatment, development and implementation of programs, and related professional in-services.

• Evaluate patients using appropriate tests and measures to determine the speech therapy problem/level of function and recommended treatment/discharge plan.
• Establish speech therapy interventions based on the evaluation and examination, physician orders, and patient goals for therapy.
• Competently and safely perform appropriate speech therapy techniques and procedures.
• Provide for continuity of patient care through written and verbal communication with other healthcare professionals.
• Document findings, patient progress, and all procedures performed within established time frames.

• 3 years of experience as a Speech Therapist required.
• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Colorado required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
