We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at CSMN Operations, LLC dba All Points North. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing professional massage and body treatment services to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Perform massage and body treatments in accordance with protocol and in a courteous and professional manner.
- Exceed the high standards of the All Points North Lodge.
- Provide Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Hot Stone, Cupping, and other featured modalities.
- Ensure proper precautions and contradictions for massage before every session.
- Modify treatment as necessary based on customer reaction.
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity during client interactions.
- Report any unusual customer interactions to supervisor promptly.
- Communicate clearly with guests and spa staff to achieve desired results.
- Perform support tasks associated with providing services assigned.
- Assist in the efficient and effective operation of the Spa.
- High School Diploma/GED with successful completion of a minimum of 500 hours of massage therapist coursework.
- Three (3) years of experience performing massage therapy with licensure in Colorado.
- Valid Colorado Massage Therapist License.
- Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of massage therapy.
- HIPAA Record keeping principles and practices.
- Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Techniques for dealing with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
- Mobility to work in a massage therapy setting.
- Use standard office equipment and dexterity to utilize computer equipment.
- Vision to read printed materials and computer screen.
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
- Regularly required to sit and work at a phone/computer work station.
- Stamina to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Agility to perform massage therapy over an extended period of time.
- Strength to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- High moral and ethical values.
- Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
- Articulate, with interpersonal skills to work as an integral part of a team.
- Appropriate interpersonal/personal boundaries.
- Maturity of judgment and behavior.
- Ability to remain flexible to accommodate changes in work schedule.
