Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Therapy Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need, and develop individualized therapy plans to address these needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, including occupational therapy interventions and activities designed to promote functional abilities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educators to integrate therapy goals into daily routines and ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, including progress notes, therapy plans, and other relevant records.
  • IEP and 504 Plan Meetings: Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to ensure that therapy goals are aligned with student needs and that progress is being made towards these goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapy license in Arizona.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
