Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

Soar Autism Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team of interdisciplinary clinicians. As an Occupational Therapist at Soar, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized care to children with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement naturalistic occupational therapy plans for young children aged 2-6 years old in a center-based setting.
  • Collaborate with other clinical specialties, including ABA, speech, and psychology, to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Coach and mentor a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to effectively translate OT goals into their therapy.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate needed changes to team members and families.
  • Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and coach and support them in their journey.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice occupational therapy.
  • Preference for OTs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new OTs starting their career.
  • Ability to connect and engage with young children, with a playful spirit.
  • Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing.
