Dishwasher/Steward

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Steward to join our team at Juniper Preserve. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas.

• Provide exceptional service to our guests and employees by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and sanitized.
• Operate and maintain the dish machine, including setting it up in the morning and closing it down at night.
• Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, and utensils.
• Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Assist with food preparation and cleaning duties as needed.
• Participate in scheduled training seminars and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds, with frequent bending and stooping.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and pre-employment criminal background check.

This position requires long periods of standing and working in a hot and damp environment. The position is primarily indoors, but may occasionally include outdoor duties.

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
