Position Summary
The Field Sales – Field Trainer role is an exciting opportunity that combines sales expertise with onboarding responsibilities. This position is affiliated with one of our nationally recognized funeral home partners, where you will represent them through preneed funeral sales. A successful candidate will be a quick learner, adept at understanding the unique Precoa business model and implementing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Sales:
Establish and nurture significant relationships with both businesses and consumers. Engage with families in the community to assist in prearranging and funding funeral services through preneed policies. Conduct consumer sales presentations both in the field and within the funeral home environment. Manage warm leads effectively while executing successful sales strategies and prospecting efforts. Demonstrate empathy and understanding to overcome objections and enhance appointment value. - Field Trainer:
Act as an onboarding consultant for Field Managers. Provide training on Precoa's Web Portal to Advanced Funeral Planners. Accompany Advanced Funeral Planners on appointments with potential clients. Support local recruiting initiatives. Travel to new accounts to facilitate onboarding processes for new sales agents. Become proficient in Precoa's insurance carrier partner products, paperwork, and procedures. Assist new sales agents in obtaining and maintaining their insurance licenses and contracting with Precoa and partner carriers.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, along with 1-2+ years of professional sales, training, and coaching experience. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks.
Work Environment
This role involves interaction within funeral homes and various community establishments, necessitating frequent travel to and from these locations.
