Position Overview

Ontario Christian School is a nonprofit, independent educational institution dedicated to delivering a biblically-centered education of exceptional quality. We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor who will oversee a dedicated team responsible for the upkeep and basic maintenance of our campus grounds. This position entails collaborating with site leadership to assess needs, devise solutions, and coordinate the deployment of staff or contractors to address maintenance issues effectively. The supervisor will actively manage a team of 3-5 employees, overseeing training initiatives, providing performance evaluations, and addressing disciplinary matters as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate grounds maintenance activities.
  • Identify maintenance needs and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Manage team performance and provide necessary training.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in grounds maintenance; five (5) years preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in maintenance work; five (5) years preferred.
  • Preferred experience of three (3) years in a supervisory or management capacity.

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
