Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PET/CT Imaging Specialist to join our team at InSight Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
  • Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging
  • Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging procedures with minimal supervision
  • Adjust scan parameters and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety regulations
  • Assess and prepare patients for radio pharmaceutical administration
  • Administer fluorodioxyglucose (FDG) via intravenous methods
  • Monitor and maintain quality control procedures on PET/CT equipment
Requirements
  • NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Training and experience sufficient to competently perform PET/CT procedures independently
  • Certification in imaging specialty
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual
  • ARRT certification in CT
  • NMTCB PET Specialty certification
